Location Narrative ? Very tip-top of Balconies, can't get any higher! Great view of Machete and Crowley Ridges, now that fog has cleared. See #812. May be a Selaginella - Lichen Alliance. Because on ridgetop aspect in every direction can be slope, therefore slope listed as 0 and aspect as N/A. Microtopography also 06 (mounded) = rocks. Very top of the stand. Stand continues down on first floor of Balconies, but it ends here and drops off 50 m. The plot is still characteristic of the rest of the stand, except that there are giant rocks sticking up that are covered with Moss and Lichens, therefore the plot is mounded, while convex because on the ridgetop. Prairie Falcon flew by.
